Coq d'Argent has launched an initiative to bring a sommelier's selection of rare and fine wines at reduced prices.

Olivier Marie, Head Sommelier at Coq d'Argent since 2001, explains:

'This is no bin-end list, nor it is an attempt to clear our cellar; rather, we hope to encourage customers to enjoy something rather special with their lunch or dinner.'

The list will change on a regular basis, and highlights the breadth of the cellar at Coq d'Argent, which holds almost 800 different wines. Olivier adds:

'Although fine wines can make an excellent investment, we sometimes overlook the fact that their value is based on quality and rarity - and that ultimately they have been produced for drinking,'
