As part of D&D London’s Blank Canvas campaign our fabulous bar team are creating a ‘School of Paris’ cocktail menu, inspired by famous artists Picasso, Kandinsky and Matisse.
Our menu will be available from 9 January until 12 February, including Picasso’s Absinthe Drinker, Matisse’s Blue Nude, Kandinksy’s Decisive Pink, priced at £11 each.
Join us from 5 to 6pm for “School of Paris Green hour” and enjoy two of the same cocktails from the menu for the price of one .
We have also teamed up with Castle Fine Arts in Canary Wharf to bring you a selection of artwork from Scarlett Raven’s The Danger Tree collection.
The Danger Tree is inspired by the works of several legendary WW1 poets including Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon and Rupert Brooke, and is a tribute to the Newfoundland Regiment who, under orders from British Command, used a tree halfway into No Man’s Land to assemble. The Liverpool PALS were the first battalions raised during the Great War and the last to be stood down, and so the exhibition’s new location is apt.
Castle Fine Art, a subsidiary of Washington Green Fine Art, is the UK’s leading group of retail art galleries.
